Joshua Radin was born 14th June 1974, and is from Cleaveland, Ohio.
He has gone from a virtual unknown to a worldwide acoustic star over the last few years.
Moving to New York to pursue his musical career, he decided to start learning the guitar and wowed fans with his heart break-up album We Were Here (2006), which received critical acclaim from the likes of Rolling Stone magazine and gained international acclaim with his single “Let It Go”.
Joshua Radin has worked with some of the best musicians in the business: pianist Benmont Tench (Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers), drummer Jim Keltner (Bob Dylan, John Lennon), and string arranger Jimmie Haskell (Simon and Garfunkel).
His song “Winter” and “Streelight” gave him a solid fan-base and he crept to #1 on the Alternative Chart and #5 on the iTunes album chart. His second effort, Simple Times (2008) was commercially very successful and a number of his tracks were used in many American TV series including “Grey’s Anatomy”, “Scrubs” and “American Idol”.
The albums ‘The Rock’ and ‘The Tide’ (2010) and Underwater (2012) followed after and reached #31 and #37 (respectively) on the US Billboard Chart.
