Killing Joke, the legendary post-punk outfit, have confirmed a one-off gig in London for November 2016.
The group will play the iconic O2 Academy Brixton on 4 November. The gig follows the release of their most recent studio album, Pylon, which became their first top 20 hit since 1994.
Killing Joke formed in London during 1978 amidst the then burgeoning punk scene. The band released Killing Joke, their eponymously titled debut album, in 1980 and to date have released 15 studio albums.
Some of the best-known Killing Joke songs are Requiem, Empire Song and Eighties. However, it was their track Love Like Blood that defined and broke the band to a wider audience. It has since become Killing Joke’s most recognised song and an underground cult hit.
