Ladyhawke (born Phillipa Brown) was born in July 1979 and is from Masterton, New Zealand.
The multi-talented singer-songwriter and musician was in two previous bands called Two Lane Blacktop and Teenager with other New Zealander, Nick Littlemore (from hot indie band Empire Of The Sun, Pnau).
