About Little Mix

Little Mix are The X Factor shooting stars of 2011, scoring a No.1 hit with their debut single Cannonball. Comprising Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jesy Nelson, the girls became The X Factor’s first ever group entry to win the hit TV show in its history.

The girls originally auditioned as solo artists, but they were unsuccessful at the boot camp part of the contest. Convinced of their talents, The X Factor judges gave the girls another chance as a group, and Little Mix, who previously called their self Rhythmix, set off on their rise to stardom.

The four-piece girl group released their No.1 debut single Cannonball in 2011, which was followed by Wings in 2012. Wings gave Little Mix their second No.1 hit in the UK, and it was their lead track from their debut album, DNA.

DNA peaked at number three in the UK charts following its release in 2012. After a successful tour, the collection was followed by their second album, Salute. The record was another top 5 hit and charted at number four.

Little Mix’s third album, Get Weird, includes their third top-charting single, Black Magic. The single saw the group team up with Electric, the Norwegian production team, who previously worked with them on Salute.
