Updated: 27 January 2014
McBusted add more dates to their packed 2014 summer calendar. McBusted have announced a performance at the Scarborough Open Air Theatre, which will take place on Friday 27 June.
Following the Scarborough date, they will then perform at Weston-super-Mare beach and Ipswich Chantry Park on 28 and 29 July. They will be joined by Backstreet Boys, 5ive, Scouting for Girls and Diversity for the shows.
Along with the open-air performances McBusted will also be one of the headline acts at this year’s Barclaycard British Summer Time. They will headline the festival on Sunday 6 July with Backstreet Boys as support.
The boyband super-group have proved to be hugely popular since they announced that McFly and Busted would join together for a 2014 UK tour last November. Their original 11 date tour quickly expanded into Ireland and tripled to over 30 dates throughout the UK and Ireland.

McFly and Busted confirmed on Monday 11 November that they will unite for a McBusted tour in 2014. The tour brings together two of the most loved boy bands of the noughties.
McBusted will see the boys of McFly, Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Harry Judd and Dougie Poynter, join with Busted’s James Bourne and Matt Willis.
Unfortunately, Charlie Simpson will not be taking part in the McBusted tour due to work on his solo project. Busted originally split in 2005 and there is expected to be a high ticket demand as fans will get the chance to see them perform live again.
McBusted first came together during McFly’s tenth anniversary concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall in September. The performance went down extremely well with both McFly and Busted fans.
The first official showing as McBusted took place during Children In Need, coinciding with the day when tickets for the tour went on sale.
McFly and Busted revealed that they will be playing a mixture of their top hits so expect What I Go To School For, All About You and Obviously, to name but a few.
McFly stated in the press conference that it will not be the end of McFly. The McBusted tour will simply be an additional project. McFly have a new album due to be released in 2014 and their latest single Love Is On The Radio is out 24 November.
The announcement sparked a positive reaction across social media so tickets are expected to sell out quickly. Make sure you don’t miss out on securing your tickets for this unique McBusted tour by getting your tickets from GET ME IN!
