Miles Kane was born 17th March 1986 and is from Wirral, Merseyside in England.
The ex-Little Flames guitarist had relative success when he was a teenager with the band alongside Eva Petersen (vocals), Greg Mighall (drums), Joe Edwards (bass) and Matt Gregory (guitar).
The band members parted ways in 2004 and Miles Kane and school friends Greg Mighall and Joe Edwards decided to pursue their musical dream and signed to Deltasonic Records under the name, The Rascals.
Miles Kane wanted the band to sound different than his previous efforts, and The Rascals were tipped to be one of the hottest bands of 2008.
When the band toured with indie giants The Arctic Monkeys, Miles Kane became close with frontman Alex Turner, and together they formed a new songwriting partnership and started new band The Last Shadow Puppets.
Simian Mobile Disco producer James Ford became the third wheel in the cog and the band had great success with their debut album The Age of the Understatement (2008) which debuted at #1, and was also nominated for the Mercury Music Prize in the same year.
In 2009, Miles Kane left his band The Rascals and pursued solo ambitions inspired by the ‘60s Mod period. Signed to Columbia Records, his debut single “Inhaler” (2010) was a guitar driven song, and moved away from his efforts.
Miles Kane tour dates across the UK saw him perform at smaller venues in November 2010 at The Underground, Stoke (8th), The Cockpit, Leeds (9th), Mojo in Liverpool (11th), The Ruby Lounge, Manchester (12th) and Water Rats in London (23rd).
