Mystery Jets return with UK dates

The Mystery Jets have announced UK live dates for their Radlands World Tour. The ‘Two Doors Down’ hitmaker kick off their UK stint on November 4th at the Oxford O2 Academy and end at the Royal Festival Hall London on November 29th.

The Mystery Jets were formed on London’s Eel Pie Island, a hippie commune near Heathrow. Making Dens was Mystery Jets debut in 2006 and was followed up in 2008 by the album Twenty One. The album signalled a change of musical direction from their previous more psychedelic offerings to a straighter indie-pop style. The big singles were Two Doors Down and Young Love.

The Chris Thomas produced album Serotonin followed in 2010 and after extensive promotional touring for it the Mystery Jets released their current album Radlands in April 2012. The album was written and recorded in Austin, Texas and in comparison to the band’s previous offerings, Radlands has a more ‘earthy,’ stripped-down rock vibe, which suits the Mystery Jets well and fans have taken to it.
