Patti Smith returns to London's Roundhouse with her band for two nights to perform her seminal album Horses.

Patti Smith celebrates the 40th anniversary of her breakthrough debut release Horses with a concert in Manchester.
The punk icon will perform the collection at the O2 Apollo Manchester on 8 June with her band. The show is part of Patti Smith’s commemoration of the milestone album.
Horses is the debut album from the singer, poet and activist and was originally released on 10 November. The album became a huge influence on the New York, and wider, punk scene. It has since been credited as one of the greatest albums of all time.
The punk-pioneer’s collection boasts the tracks Gloria, Redondo Beach and Free Money. Patti Smith will perform the record with her band, which includes guitarist Lenny Kaye and drummer Jay Dee Daugherty who played on Horses along with long-time collaborator Tony Shanahan.

See the CBGB's punk icon, poet, painter and social activist live performing her rock ‘n’ roll classics such as Redondo Beach, Dancing Barefoot, Birdland, Frederick and, the Bruce Springsteen-penned chart-topper, Because The Night.
The concerts coincide with Patti Smith’s most recent release, the career-spanning Outside Society compilation, and will be a brilliant opportunity for fans to hear Patti Smith perform songs from her excellent body of work.
