Patti Smith
More Patti Smith Gigs In September
Last Updated: 21st August 2012
After a successful live UK stint in June, Patti Smith and her band return for more concerts in September. See the CBGB's punk icon, poetess, painter and social activist live, performing her Rock n’ Roll classics such as “Redondo Beach,” “Dancing Barefoot,” “Birdland,” “Frederick,” the Bruce Springsteen-penned chart-topper “Because The Night” and her outstanding re-versions of classics.
Them’s “Gloria,” The Byrds “So You Want to Be a Rock'n'Roll Star” and Patti’s legendary go at The Who’s “My Generation” with the now infamous opening lines “Jesus died for somebody's sins but not mine” have all taken their rightful place in Rock ‘n’ Roll history.
