The pop fairy tale started when Robbie Williams and Take That rose to fame in the early 90’s with their debut album ‘Take That and Party.’ Take That set the standard for all boybands that would eventually aim to follow their success but not many other boybands came close to duplicate the success of those 4 boys from Manchester.

To the disbelief of countless Robbie Williams and Take That fans around the globe, Robbie left Take That in 1995. While the remaining band members of Take That put the band on a hiatus, Robbie went on to pursue a highly successful solo career, releasing several chart toppers and award winning albums.

In 2005, Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald, and Jason Orange reunited as Take That. With a more mature sound, Take That returned back to the spotlight, releasing global hit albums and playing huge sold-out concerts around the world.

Wild speculations of a full Robbie Williams and Take That comeback have been making the rounds ever since but it in the end it took 15 years before the duet between Gary Barlow and Robbie Williams on the single ‘Shame’ paved the way to one of the most anticipated reunions in music.

Two grown-ups meet each other, take complete responsibility for their actions and apologise - that's magic". Jason Orange from That That has admitted that bullying might have been the reason why Robbie Williams left that band. Williams, as the youngest member of the Take That, was apparently often treated as an outcast. Orange said that "He was the kid in the band and maybe I bullied him in some ways, not overtly but covertly. He took exception and rightly so ".
