Robbie Williams tours the UK throughout June and July with his No.1 album Swings Both Ways.

The Robbie Williams tour includes dates in Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham. The tour will end with four nights at The O2 in London running from 8 – 12 July 2014.

Swings Both Ways became the 1,000th No.1 album on the Official Album charts when it debuted at the top spot in December.

Swings Both Ways takes Robbie Williams back to swing following his 2001 album, Swing When You’re Winning. It features a selection of original material and covers including collaborations from the likes of Olly Murs, Michael Buble and Lily Allen.

The Robbie Williams tour follows on from Robbie’s 2012 Take The Crown European tour, which was his first solo tour in seven years. Robbie Williams tickets were in high demand to see the showman. The 2012 Robbie Williams tour was in support his tenth No.1 album, Take The Crown.

About Robbie Williams

Robbie Williams’ evergreen career began in 1990 when he joined, what was to become one of Britain’s most successful boybands to date, Take That and captured the heart of millions with his cheeky style and charisma.

Going through the trials and tribulations of being in such an successful band, Robbie Williams went onto become a successful solo artist and released Millennium, which reached the Top 20 in Europe as well as far afield as Australia. The follow-up I've Been Expecting You overtook all expectation and went 10x platinum.

Robbie Williams' pop fairy tale started when Robbie and Take That shot to fame in the early 90’s with their debut album Take That and Party. Take That set the standard for all boybands that would eventually aim to follow their success but not many other boybands came close to duplicate the success of those four boys from Manchester.

When he left the band in 1995, to the disbelief of his countless fans around the globe, it looked as if his pop career was over.

Instead Robbie Williams reinvented himself as a highly successful solo artist who would move on to pursue a highly successful solo career, releasing several chart toppers and award winning albums.

In 2005, Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald, and Jason Orange reunited as Take That but it wasn’t until 2011 when Robbie Williams reunited with the band in their hugely successful tour. Following the tour, Robbie disappeared for a few months from the public tor to return to his solo career. The results are the top-selling comeback album Take The Crown and its chart-topping single, Candy.
