About Scouting For Girls
Scouting For Girls formed in 2005 and made their recording debut just two years later with It’s Not About You EP and their eponymous debut album.
The collection topped the Official UK Albums Chart and received double platinum status. Scouting For Girls toured the album heavily and several successful singles were released, such as the top 10 tracks She’s So Lovely, Elvis Ain’t Dead and Heartbeat.
Scouting For Girls hit the studio with Andy Green once again behind the mixing desk. The result was Scouting For Girls’ Everybody Wants To Be On TV. The album hit the shops in April 2010 and, with the help of the singles This Ain’t A Love Song and Famous, it climbed the British charts to number two.
The album received praise from fans and the media alike, liking its sound to the glory days of Britpop and music magazine Uncut linked the energy of This Ain’t A Love Song to Blur’s breakthrough hit Girls & Boys, predicting dancefloor riots in indie clubs up-and-down the country.
2012 saw the band release The Light Between Us, which was followed by a Greatest Hits album in 2013. Still Thinking About You followed in 2015 and is the band’s first album of new material in three years.
