Sigur Ros Announce Usher Hall Show

Icelandic dream popper, Sigur Ros embark on a World Tour this summer with dates in the UK in November. Promising to play new material alongside music from their back catalogue, the band members will be accompanied by an additional 11-piece live band.

Sigur Ros formed in 1994 in Reykjavik, Iceland and currently consist of Jonsi Birgisson, Georg Hólm, Kjartan Sveinsson and Orri Páll Dýrason.

Their 1994 debut Von and 1999's follow-up Ágætis byrjun both received Platinum certifaction, while all the band's other studio albums were awarded Gold. The band have established a strong, loyal fanbase and as consequence, Sigur Rós tickets are alwasy high in demand.
