The band behind Rockin’ All Over The World, Whatever You Want and Picture Of Matchstick Men will play their final ever electric UK shows this December.

Status Quo’s The Last Night Of The Electrics tour kicks off at Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena on 8 December. The final date will take place at Liverpool’s Echo Arena on 23 December, while their homecoming concert will take place on 11 December at London’s The O2.

Cities that will get the electric treatment include Bournemouth, Brighton, Cardiff, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Glasgow, and Newcastle.

This will be the final chance for fans to see and hear Francis Rossi, Rick Parfitt and co. perform Status Quo’s electric show. During the tour, Status Quo will be supported by The Lounge Kittens.

Status Quo’s The Last Night Of The Electrics tour follows on from their summer dates. The group will play a handful of shows around the UK, including playing gigs in Blackpool and Scarborough.

About Status Quo

Status Quo formed in 1967 and after a series of line-up and name changes their big break came when they signed to Vertigo. They released the album Piledriver in 1972, which became their seminal album.

They went on to land over 60 chart hits in the UK, which is more than any other rock group in history, and received a BRIT Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music. Status Quo are one of the UK’s most iconic rock bands with hits including Rockin’ All Over The World, Whatever You Want and In The Army Now.
