Despite tragedies, such as the death of original keyboarder, Rob Collins, the The Charlatans have gone from strength to strength in their 20 years as recording and touring artists.

Starting off as part of the early 90’s Showgaze and Madchester scene, it was their indie classic, "The Only One I Know," which catapulted the band onto the covers of the music magazines and secured them a loyal fan base that is supporting the band to this day.

When Britpop ruled the airwaves in the mid 90’s, The Charlatans found them celebrated as indie heroes but instead of resting on their laurels, The Charlatans kept on churning out more pop gems, such as "One To Another," "North Country Boy," "Love Is The Key" and more recently, "You’re So Pretty We’re So Pretty" and "The Misbegotten."
