Gaslight Anthem's unique blend of classic American rock in the vein of Bruce Springsteen and heavy punk influences from the likes of Social Distortion and The Misfits, has won the band fans around the globe and is now playing sold-out shows wherever they arrive. The band has been playing live a lot and has become a favourite at festivals.

The band arrived in 2007 with their debut 'Sink or Swim' and follow-ed this up with 'The '59 Sound'. The album gave the band a first taste of success with a Silver certification in the UK.

Third album 'American Slang' arrived in 2012 and cracked the German Album Top-10 and Top-20 in the UK and their native US. The Gaslight Anthem have been touring heavily in support of 'American Slang,' resulting in an extended fanbase and much anticipation for the new album 'Handwritten.' 'handwritten' hit the retailers in Summer 2012 and was preceeded by the US Top-30 single '45.'
