The Killers are back with the new album, Battle Born. The album, released in autumn 2012, marks the band's comeback after a hiatus following the release and busy promotional schedule of their 2008 studio release Day & Age.
Following a creative break the band took after touring the "Day & Age" album and Brandon Flowers solo album "Flamingoes," The Killers are working hard to get back with to business. A string of top producers have been recruited to help the band getting their vision realised. Madonna producer Stuart Price and long-time U2 producer Steve Lillywhite have been named amongst Damien Taylor and Brendan O'Brien.
The Killers shot to fame in 2004 with their multi-Platinum certified debut “Hot Fuss,” which spawned the global chart hits “Somebody Told Me” and instant indie-classic “Mr Brightside.”
“Sam’s Town” followed in 2006 with “Bones,” “Read My Mind” and “When You Were Young” and 2008 saw The Killers’ currently last studio album “Day & Age.” The album scooped several awards and received Gold and multi-Platinum across the globe. The anthemic single “Human” became a radio staple.
Relentless touring and the search for a new direction for The Killers led to the band taking a creative break after touring and promotional commitments for “Day & Age.”
Brandon Flowers briefly embarked on a quite successful solo career that saw his solo debut “Flamingo” top the album charts and lead single “Crossfire” break into the Top10.
