The London five-piece The Maccabees will head out on a massive tour of the UK in November 2015 and January 2016.
After returning with their chart-topping album, Marks To Prove It, The Maccabees have confirmed a 13-date tour that will start in 2015 and finish in the new year.
Kicking things off in Nottingham on 18 November, the group will play shows in Newcastle, Norwich, Cambridge, Brighton, Southampton, Leeds, Reading and Bristol.
The tour will then resume in January 2016 with shows in Glasgow, Manchester and two headline gigs at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on 21 and 22 January.
After storming Leeds and Reading Festival during summer 2015, where they were voted the best live act of the festival by NME readers, The Maccabees are expected to perform tracks from Marks To Prove It and fan-favourites from their previous three albums on their 2015 tour.
With Orlando Weeks’ chilling vocals and endearing stage presence, Hugo and Felix white’s intricate guitar riffs, Rupert Jarvis’ bass and Sam Doyle’s skilful drumming, The Maccabees are an incredible live act and tickets are always highly sought after.
About The Maccabees
Releasing their first album in 2007, Colour It In, The Maccabees established their selves as an indie-rock band with a difference. They followed the release with 2009’s Wall Of Arms and 2012’s Given To The Wild.
The group’s honest and emotional lyrics meant tracks such as Precious Time, First Love, Wall Of Arms and Love You Better resonated with their audience and kept fans interested in what the London-formed five-piece would deliver next.
In 2015, Marks To Prove It was released. The album was the group’s first chart-topping hit. It included a number of incredible tracks, such as Something Like Happiness and Ribbon Road.
