The Maccabees
The Maccabees smashed into the charts with “Wall Of Arms” in 2009 which contained the popular singles, “Love You Better” and “Wall of Arms”. The album reached number 13 in the UK Albums Top 75.
An indie band from south London, The Maccabees represented the “new breed” of emerging alternative bands coming out in mid-2000s.
The band is formed of Orlando Weeks (vocals), Hugo White (guitar), Felix White (guitar, vocals), Rupert Jarvis (bass) and Sam Doyle (drums, post 2008, pre-2008 Robert Dylan Thomas).
Previous efforts include Colour It In (2007) and most recently Given To The Wild (Jan 2012).
