US band The National will end their Trouble Will Find Me world tour with a huge show at London’s The O2 in November.
The performance will mark the end of The National’s tour taking place on 26 November 2014. The tour is in support of the band’s sixth album, Trouble Will Find Me.
The National have spent summer 2014 playing several festivals across Europe including performing on the main stage of British Summer Time Hyde Park, where they shared the bill with Neil Young and The National.
About The National
The US band who hail from Ohio are brothers Aaron (guitar, bass, piano) and Bryce Dessner (guitar), and Scott (bass, guitar) and Bryan Devendorf (drums)along with frontman Matt Berninger.
Formed in 1999, The National have released six albums to date. Their first releases included their selftitled album and Sad Songs For Dirty Lovers. The national also dropped the mini-album Cherry Tree before signing to Beggars Banquet in 2004.
The following year the band released Alligator, which spawned the underground anthem Mr. November. The band became known for their live performances as their profile grew.
The five-piece went on to release Boxer in 2007. The album included tracks such as Fake Empire, Mistaken For Strangers and Start A War, which soon became The National classics.
2010 saw the release of High Violent that reached the Top 5 and was certified Gold in the UK, Denmark, Ireland and Belgium. Three years later The National topped this success with Trouble Will Find Me. The album received both critical and commercial success, charting in the Top 3 on both sides of the Atlantic.
2013 continued successfully for The National as they were nominated for a Grammy Award. They also continued their success in the UK where they band played two sell-out concerts at London’s Alexandra Palace.
