The recently re-released Exile on Main Street album and accompanying DVD documentary even saw the band scoring another Number One chart position.

In an interview Rolling Stones guitarist, Ronnie Wood argued the forthcoming Rolling Stones tour won’t be the band’s last and that the band will “rock till they’ll drop.” And of course, anyone who was lucky enough to score Rolling Stones tickets for their last, the Bigger Bang Tour, knows that Mick and his band mates are still strutting the stages better than many of their younger counterparts. It’s natural though that fans wonder for how much longer Rolling Stones can do these massive tours and over the years fans and media speculate if this could be the last ever Rolling Stones tour.

The 50th anniversary Rolling Stones tour would certainly be a great way to bring an end to an unsurpassed career. But if the 2011/2012 Rolling Stones tour turns out to be the band’s last or not, Rolling Stones will leave behind a legacy no other R’n’R act will ever manage to match.
