About The Script
The Irish trio of Danny O’Donoghue, Mark Sheehan and Glen Power catapulted into the music scene with the release of their self-titled debut album in 2008.
An instant success, the album became their first of three UK No.1’s. The eponymous album contained the tracks We Cry, Talk You Down and Breakeven.
In 2010, The Script followed up their success with their second chart-topping album Silence and Faith. The music industry took note and frontman Danny O’Donoghue became a judge on BBC1’s The Voice.
During this time he struck up a friendship with fellow judge Will.I.Am, which lead to the producer, singer-songwriter and composer collaborate with The Script on their worldwide chart-topping single Hall Of Fame.
The track was lifted from their third album #3 and also happened to be the perfect track to fill an arena with, which they went to do with a huge world tour that lasted 11 months. The Script visited North America, Asia, Australia and Europe during their #3 world tour.
During their time on the road, the boys continued to work hard creating their fourth album No Sound Without Silence. They put the foundations to their fourth collection down on the road and went to work finishing the album in London and Dublin when the tour was over.
No Sound Without Silence was released in September 2014 and landed The Script their third UK No.1 in the Official Albums Chart.
Along with their huge commercial success, which has seen The Script sell over 20million records and see their albums reach multi-platinum status, the band have earned a World Music Award, three Meteor Ireland Music Awards and have been nominated for a Brit Award.
The Script have proven time and again that they are band who need to be seen live; with their huge world tour and number of sell out shows The Script tickets are in high demand!
