New boy band, The Wanted have vowed to revive the boy band concept and make it cool. They have been together since 2009 and their debut single ‘All Time Low’ was released in June 2010 and charted at number one in the UK.

Second single ‘Heart Vacancy’ is due to come out in October and the album is to follow. They have worked with many producer on their debut album including Cathy Dennis and Taio Cruz, the band have stated that the album will not be ‘usual boy band stuff’ and will be more edgy with rock and indie influences.

The Wanted live has already been seen at the Summertime Ball, where they performed their single ‘All Time Low’ and have also been performing alongside girl band The Saturdays at various gigs.
