Twenty20 Internationals
Twenty20 International is the international championship of Twenty20 cricket and has become one of the most important and exciting cricket matches around.
Twenty20 (or sometimes just called 20 20) is a deviation from the classic cricket game; a type of single inning cricket, where teams bat for not more than 20 overs.
Completed in about three hours, with each inning lasting approximately 75 minutes, Twenty20 was perceived with the idea to move the timespan of a cricket game closer to that of other popular sports, like football.
Twenty20 has become immensely popular the world over and the sold-out Twenty20 International matches reflect this.
Administered by the International Cricket Council (ICC), the World Cricket League is a series of international one-day cricket tournaments for national teams without Test status.
12 teams will be taking place in the current 2007 season. All 10 Test cricket teams are taking part and two more.
