The magnificent Hampton Court Palace was given to King Henry VIII back in the early 1500s by Thomas Wolsey. Thomas feared that his estate, the Hampton Court Palace, was better than that of King Henry, which was St. James Place, thinking that could likely get his head cut off. The Hampton Court Palace was formally known as Tudor Palace.

Today the picturesque Hampton Court Palace, which sits on the Thames River, is one of the most impressive settings for live performances in the world.
