TNA Wrestling
Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling was founded by Jeff Jarrett and Jerry Jarrett and is headquartered in Nashville, USA.
The tournament began after the decline of World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 2001, and became successful in its own right after the dominance of WWF (World Wrestling Federation) and WCW.
TNA Wrestling is shown online and on television and differs from other forms of pay-per-view wrestling as it was the first wrestling tournament which used a hexagonal wrestling ring as opposed to the standard four sided ring.
TNA Wrestling has a strong following and is famous for its high-risk, no bar wrestling usually involving ‘cruiserweight’ wrestlers in the X Division.
The 2011 World Champion is Bobbi Roode (as of 3rd November 2011) and the tournaments are shown on TV worldwide.
